To get to the Olympics in Vancouver from Tampa, FL you would have to fly 2600 miles (4185 km). Now imagine turning that into a road trip and bringing your camera and camcorder along. Oh, what sites you would capture!

Most likely, you’ll drive through the states of Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Washington to get to Canada. The United States is so diverse in its physical and cultural structure. The variety of views, people, food, weather, and so on can make a photo album so unique.

There is a three hour time difference as Vancouver is three hours behind us so you’ll get extra time for more experiences and great shots. Of course, it will take a day or two to get used to the time difference but it’s amazing to wake up before everyone else does and soak in as much as you can. I’ve been on the beaches of the west coast at 3:00 a.m. and had the entire beach and sunrise to myself. What incredible shots I was able to get!

Now imagine the memories you would load on your memory cards and in your hearts on this amazing road trip from Tampa to Vancouver. Then imagine the Olympic shots when you get there!
